I always thought that proper Norse raven iconography would work well with Marines, and perhaps a fleet-centric Chapter that does "hit-and-run" (almost raid-like...) assaults? i'm getting carried away now lol.Kieran Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04191062526187270925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898378938353796232.post-78051390234625823252012-04-04T04:01:48.257+01:002012-04-04T04:01:48.257+01:00That sounds very cool indeed, I've been playin...That sounds very cool indeed, I've been playing Skyrim a lot lately and have been itching to make some Norse-like somethings, I might have to go through my spare Space Marines and work on something. Not barbarian Space Wolves more like proper vikings, maybe Imperial Guard would be better but I don't know.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16070238698927689134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898378938353796232.post-46911421476493595082012-04-03T10:38:22.096+01:002012-04-03T10:38:22.096+01:00Thanks very much, I wanted something that looked l...Thanks very much, I wanted something that looked like the Chi Rho as it's basically shorthand for these are Romano-British. Tried a few variants but the simplest one was best as ever.

Yup you've got it in one. Librarians (Cerddor) are certainly druidy and their armour will make extensive use of the ogham runes above, and their staffs are topped with gnarly branches. I've also combined Chaplain-Apothecaries (much like Wolf Priests) and they are actually known as Dwyrydd, they have a penchant for hoods and robes, carry a sickle-topped crozius and have vials of various balms and potions on their beltsKieran Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04191062526187270925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898378938353796232.post-23664855098005084622012-04-03T02:54:00.814+01:002012-04-03T02:54:00.814+01:00That chapter badge is Badius Assius, as one might ...That chapter badge is Badius Assius, as one might say in Latin. I've always enjoyed the Romano-British look, I don't think Ive ever seen it done before on Space Marines. Any plans for a Druid Librarian?Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16070238698927689134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898378938353796232.post-14782381328696823662012-04-02T23:35:11.773+01:002012-04-02T23:35:11.773+01:00I must remember to write blog posts when I'm n...I must remember to write blog posts when I'm not half alseep in future, it's a slightly dry read lol, apologies folksKieran Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04191062526187270925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898378938353796232.post-62277249752488314012012-04-02T23:34:17.733+01:002012-04-02T23:34:17.733+01:00Thanks very much, the stone was a lucky find. Going to work on the Sergeants next, and trying to make the Scouts look more "Scouty" - like proper light, irregular infantryKieran Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04191062526187270925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8898378938353796232.post-66930434936805029812012-04-02T23:19:22.289+01:002012-04-02T23:19:22.289+01:00Great!
